The most difficult phase of life is not when no one understands you;
It is when you don’t understand yourself.

I woke up this morning in the middle of a field filled with sunflowers and daisys. The scorching sun felt like heaven on my leaves. I wanted to be a tree and I got it in my dream. All alone in the middle of a field with nobody else to answer to. It’s true trees have other trees surrounding them, in my dream it’s my tree all alone.
Come visit my tree, but I don’t have to talk to you if I don’t want to. Beautiful birds chirping, cool breeze flowing, spiders, butterflies, earthworms all come by to say hi. So many “friends” but still the need and want to be alone and to have privacy?
Loved by so many, many love so much, much I don’t love anymore.

Ever had one of those days where you just feel like running away and hiding? Maybe find a corner where you close your eyes and pretend you’re just part of the furniture and maybe nobody will notice?
Sometimes I wish I was a tree, the only thing I’d have to worry about is getting water and some sort of disease which could potentially eat up my roots. I have to be careful of this sort of thing being human anyway right? At least I won’t have to deal with anyone but my branches and leaves.
Today is one of those days.

During an outdoor concert, ’80s pop star Cyndi Lauper experienced a rare event that every singer dreads. As she belted out a long, booming note, a bird flying overhead dispensed a blob that zoomed into her wide-open mouth. Lauper’s grandmother later assured her that this was a stroke of good luck, and the singer herself referred to it as “God’s little joke.” I predict you will soon enjoy a metaphorically similar visitation.

Song: Numb Lyrics
i’m tired of being what you want me to be
feeling so faithless
lost under the surface
i don’t know what you’re expecting of me
put under the pressure
of walking in your shoes
[caught in the undertow / just caught in the undertow]
every step that i take is another mistake to you
i’ve
become so numb
i can’t feel you there
become so tired
so much more aware
i’m becoming this
all i want to do
is be more like me
and be less like you
can’t you see that you’re smothering me
holding too tightly
afraid to lose control
cause everything that you thought i would be
has fallen apart right in front of you
[caught in the undertow / just caught in the undertow]
every step that i take is another mistake to you
[caught in the undertow / just caught in the undertow]
and every second i waste is more than i can take
but i know
i may end up failing too
but i know
you were just like me
with someone disappointed in you
The group Reporters Without Borders evaluates how well the world’s nations respect freedom of the press. Finland, Iceland, and the Netherlands are the top three, while North Korea, Cuba, and Burma are at the bottom. Canada is ranked tenth. The U.S. is 137th (of a total 167) in terms of the press freedom that it fosters outside of its own borders, although it’s 44th in its own territory. In this spirit and in response to current astrological omens, I inventoried the freedom of expression you have carved out for yourself, Aquarius. I also appraised your skill at creating an environment in which other people feel free to express themselves to you. You’re doing great in the first category–number one in the zodiac!–but you could use some work in the second. Now is a perfect time to work harder to extend to others the spaciousness you enjoy.
As far as the astrological powers-that-be are concerned, you have permission to play hooky. Whether their authorization will carry any weight with your boss and the people who depend on you, I can’t say. But the pure cosmic fact of the matter is that you should devote as much time as possible in the coming days to avoiding responsibility, following your whims, and indulging in sweet pleasures that in no way serve the values of the cold, cruel workaday world. It’s time to wander out into a field of wildflowers and chase butterflies. Or something similar.
In the course of most pregnancies, there is a moment when the fetus first moves in such a way that the mother-to-be can feel it. It’s often a kick or a punch. I predict that an analogous quickening will occur for you in the coming week, Aquarius. You’ll arrive at a threshold where a rite of passage will begin. It may be as subtle as a soft, billowing thump or as radical as a raucous yelp. At that uncanny moment, you’ll become aware that a new force has sprung to life. You’ll become attuned to a delivery from the future.
Your power animal is the queen bee, which lays up to 2,000 eggs a day in the spring. Like her, you are stupendously fertile. In fact, you’re capable of so much creative expression that it could take months for you to ripen all the new life that you’re now spawning. Just because you have this potential, however, doesn’t guarantee that you will use it well or completely. There’s a first important step you can take to help ensure that you do: Treat yourself with the same care and reverence and optimism you would a woman who’s nine months pregnant.
Albert Lexie has shined shoes at Pittsburgh’s Children’s Hospital since 1982. From the beginning, he has taken portions of his meager earnings and contributed them to a fund for sick kids who are poor. Recently his donations topped the $100,000 mark. He’s your role model, Aquarius. The astrological omens reveal you will have everything going for you if you choose this time to launch a long, slow ascent toward a goal that may now seem improbable.
